- Hampton Roads EPN Group Hosts Networking Event, Advocacy Discussion
June 9, 2023The Emerging Professionals Network of Greater Hampton Roads hosted an event on Thursday on the importance of advocacy in the credit union industry. The discussion was led by ABNB Federal Credit Union's Chris Anuswith and the League's JT Blau, both of whom noted that legislative and regulatory advocacy are critical in shaping the regulatory environment in which credit unions operate.
- Agencies Propose Interagency Guidance on Reconsiderations of Value for Residential Real Estate Valuations
June 8, 2023Five federal regulatory agencies today requested public comment on proposed guidance addressing reconsiderations of value (ROV) for residential real estate transactions. The proposed guidance advises on policies that financial institutions may implement to allow consumers to provide financial institutions with information that may not have been considered during an appraisal or if deficiencies are identified in the original appraisal.
