- Langley's Deb Vollmer Appointed to League Board
June 30, 2023Deb Vollmer, Chief Experience Officer at Newport News-based Langley Federal Credit Union, has been appointed to the Virginia Credit Union League’s Board of Directors. She will represent credit unions in the League’s Region 1 (Greater Hampton Roads), serving until the League Board’s 2024 elections. She fills the vacancy on the Board created by the departure of Kim Little.
- Langley FCU Announces 2023 Jean M. Yokum Scholarship Winners
June 29, 2023Six deserving college-bound members of Langley Federal Credit Union will receive Jean M. Yokum College Scholarships, named after the credit union’s former president and CEO.

June 29, 2023The National Credit Union Administration has extended the deadline for applying for 2023 Community Development Revolving Loan Fund grants to July 7.

June 29, 2023The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), along with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (Board), and Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) (collectively “the agencies”), in consultation with state bank and credit union regulators, are issuing the enclosed interagency Policy Statement on Prudent Commercial Real Estate Loan Accommodations and Workouts (Statement).
- FFIEC Announces Availability of 2022 Data on Mortgage Lending
June 29, 2023The Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) today announced the availability of data on 2022 mortgage lending transactions reported under the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA) by 4,460 U.S. financial institutions, including banks, savings associations, credit unions, and mortgage companies.

- DCCU Board of Directors Appoints New Chair
June 23, 2023DuPont Community Credit Union’s Board of Directors has a new Chair, its first in 17 years. At its April meeting, DCCU’s Board of Directors elected officers for the upcoming year. Angela M. Simonetti, who has held the role of Vice Chair since 2021, was elected Chair.
