10/3/2023

LDI Logo - Carolinas Credit Union LeagueThe Virginia League is excited to announce a new partnership that delivers C-Suite level leadership development training for credit union professionals. We've partnered with the Carolinas Credit Union League to offer their Leadership Development Institute (LDI) to Virginia’s credit unions. The LDI empowers current and rising credit union leaders with modern strategies for developing leadership and critical thinking skills.

"The Leadership Development Institute offers exactly what we sought in a C-Suite-worthy education and leadership development program for member credit unions," said League President/CEO Carrie Hunt. "LDI is the perfect complement to our own EMERGE Certification program and the CUNA Management School, with the three programs together providing training and education that will prepare credit union employees for management and leadership roles at every stage of their career."

Students enrolled in LDI will gain new insight, abilities, and strategies to integrate within their credit unions. The result of LDI is a new class of dynamic and effective leaders ready to continue and enhance the missions of their credit unions.

Now entering its eighth year, the Carolinas Credit Union League’s Leadership Development Institute (LDI) is poised for growth and another successful learning journey as the application process opens for 2024. The program invites 30-40 current and emerging credit union leaders who are ready to gain new insight, abilities, and strategies to elevate their leadership and critical thinking.

Interested applicants should complete the online application form by Friday, Dec. 15, 2023.

With more than 100 graduates since its introduction, LDI develops dynamic, effective leaders through a curated curriculum in partnership with the Center for Leadership Studies (CLS).

Students meet quarterly in Chapel Hill, NC for two-day workshops in which instructors from CLS and other industry cornerstones equip them for situational leadership, effective coaching, leading organizational change, identifying their management styles, and more.
