CUs, League Meet with Rep. Jennifer Wexton

Credit union leaders from Northwest Federal Credit Union and Apple Federal Credit Union joined the League Thursday in a meeting with Congresswoman Jennifer Wexton (D-10) in her office in Washington, D.C. to highlight the impact of Virginia’s credit unions and ask for her support of the SAFE Banking Act.

Every credit union is engaged with its community at some level and your League and CUNA want to recognize and honor your good work through the Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Community Service Award, Louise Herring Philosophy-in-Action Member Service Award, and the Desjardins Financial Education Awards. Deadline for award submissions is June 30, 2023.
