Duties:

Argent Credit Union is seeking a Core System Administrator. Under the supervision of the Vice President of Technology, the Core System Administrator is responsible for managing the operations of the Corelation core banking system for the Credit Union, including maintaining operational functionality with support of service bureau, testing and implementation of new products and services, and oversight of disaster recovery of core system and third-party interfaces. An understanding of the core computer system, workflows of various credit union operations, and the ancillary systems/vendors interfacing with the core computer system/data is essential. Maintenance of core computer system forms, interface with the imaging system and report generation are included as part of duties.

This role is fully remote, with the option to work from Credit Union operations center.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the core computer system daily processing and maintains procedures.
  • Work with service bureau to maintain and ensure core computer system is operating efficiently and effectively within service level standards.
  • Coordinate and assist with Disaster Recover including testing planning, and review of continuity documentation with core and various third-party integrations.
  • Function as primary contact for Shared Branching vendor partner including assisting with access or connectivity maintenance.
  • Work with internal staff, business partners, and outside vendors on error resolutions related to core system functionality.
  • Able to plan, coordinate, test and communicate changes, upgrades, and new services with end-users.
  • Responsible for complying with information security standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with implementation of new products and services through coordination with staff, vendors, and core computer system.
  • Responsible for testing and implementation of new releases or enhancements of core system software and other third-party interfaces.
  • Responsible for statement and notice processing from the core system and working closely with business partners and vendors on changes or modifications.
  • Develop and maintain the library of reports within the core computer system, utilizing third party software.
  • Work as a member of the Argent Credit Union team to ensure achievement of the Credit Union’s mission and goals.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as deemed appropriate.

Requirements:

Required Education and Experience:

  • Working knowledge of core software. Experience with Corelation Keystone software preferred.
  • Working knowledge and/or aptitude to quickly learn SQL, Java, JavaScript as well as experience with database systems and applications.
  • Education or experience with NetBeans IDE 8.1 helpful.
  • Education or experience with Crystal Reports helpful.
  • Independent and driven learner with ability to quickly understand processes and to research modern technologies and solutions.
