Duties:
Manager/CEO position available at Hampton Veterans' Affairs FCU (Hampton, Virginia). Hampton V. A. Federal Credit Union is a $6 million credit union located in Hampton, Virginia. The 87 year-old credit union is on the second floor of a building owned by the Hampton Medical Center run of the Department of Veterans' Affairs. We are located just off 164-East bound, at the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel (Phoebus area) which connects the Peninsula to the Norfolk/Virginia Beach area. The credit union currently has 2 employees.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Incumbent will be responsible for the daily operation of the branch. Will also be expected to provide quality, efficient service to members and ensure operations comply with established policies, procedures, and guidelines within legal and regulatory requirements; supervise and assist employees with member service functions, cross sell financial products, and interview loan applicants.
Requirements:
REQUIREMENTS:
Applicant must be able to utilize Microsoft Office. Five + years’ experience in the financial service industry or lending desired. Applicant must be articulate and able to train new employees. Knowledge of compliance, marketing, credit union accounting and member services desired. Minimum two years of previous supervisory experience. Applicant must possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills and be able to establish and meet sales goals.
