Duties:

State Department Federal Credit Union ($2.6B, Alexandria, VA) is seeking our next President/Chief Executive Officer. The retirement of our current President/CEO, Jan Roche, presents a wonderful opportunity for someone who is deeply committed to the credit union mission of providing financial well-being for the membership and has a desire to work in partnership with an experienced and engaged Board. One of the nation’s leading credit unions, SDFCU was founded in 1935 by a small group of employees of the U.S. Department of State. Since that time, we have grown to more than 90,000 members worldwide while maintaining our focus on providing responsible financial services to our core membership and over 100 other Select Employee Groups. Headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, we operate six retail branches and an extensive digital banking system that allows us to offer seamless access to our entire membership.
