CUs, League Hold Virtual Meeting with Rep. Wittman

Credit union advocates from BayPort Credit Union, Henrico Federal Credit Union, Langley Federal Credit Union, NavyFed, and Topside Federal Credit Union joined the League in a virtual meeting with Congressman Rob Wittman (R -1) on May 4.

Early voting for Virginia’s June 20 primary election began May 5. As we reported earlier, 44 primary races will be taking place throughout Virginia. Some of these races see newcomers running against long-time incumbents, other races have all new faces and only a couple pit incumbents against each other.

Richmond-Area CUs Hit the Links for VACUPAC

Sixty golfers teed off in the Richmond-area Bill Dawson VACUPAC Golf Tournament on May 9. Hosted and organized by Henrico Federal Credit Union, the annual fundraiser supports the Virginia Credit Union Political Action Committee (VACUPAC), the political action committee for Virginia-based credit unions.

VACUPAC Wine-Tasting & Networking Lunch Set for May 24; Registration Deadline May 14

We’re pleased to announce a new private wine-tasting and networking event at IGNITE 2023 (hosted at the Williamsburg Winery), which will benefit the Virginia Credit Union Political Action Committee! Although this event is part of IGNITE 2023, you don’t need to be registered for IGNITE to attend the Lunch!
