CUs, League 'Hiking The Hill' in Support of Legislative Agenda

Credit union and League representatives meet with Sen. Tim Kaine in the U.S. Capitol.

League and credit union representatives met today with Rep. Jennifer Kiggans (R-2nd) as part of our "Hike The Hill" efforts at CUNA GAC. Participating credit unions include ABNB Federal Credit Union, BayPort Credit Union and Chartway Credit Union. 

Virginia credit union advocates are meeting with our congressional delegation today on Capitol Hill!

We are discussing our opposition to further changes or regulations related to interchange and overdraft protection programs, as well as our support of the credit union board modernization bill that recently passed the House and measures that would address credit unions’ ability to serve underserved and marginalized communities.
