CUNA’s Nussle to Host Virtual Forums Related to Proposed Trade Group Merger

CUNA President and CEO Jim Nussle said he will be hosting “virtual forums” for member credit unions of both CUNA and NAFCU related to the proposed merger between the two organizations.

Nussle, who will lead the group that is to be called America’s Credit Unions should the merger be approved, sent the letter following the opening of voting earlier this week on the merger.

“We will be strategic. We will be decisive. We will be cost and value conscious. We will listen and adapt to your needs. Most importantly, we will be responsive,” Nussle wrote.

The member vote on the merger will be open until 5 p.m. ET Nov. 1.
