CU Pride Month to Kick Off With Leadership Conference
CU Pride Month in June will kick off with an educational leadership conference and other events.
According to CU Pride, “There is change happening and the world is getting a little brighter, more colorful in credit unions. When discussing diversity, our LGBTQ+ professionals have often been invisible but not anymore.”
The organization said June, which is also Pride Month, is an “opportunity, as an industry, to come together, create awareness, learn more and build allyship with a community that needs us all.”
The CU Pride Leadership Conference will take place virtually on June 7 from noon – 4 p.m., will bring industry executives and thought leaders together to discuss community engagement, CEO perspectives, allyship and the business case for LGBTQ+ inclusion, according to the organization.
