- A Wiener is Named in Vizo Financial’s Hot Dog Eating Contest
August 7, 2024On July 18, 2024, ten eager and spirited contestants took part in Vizo Financial's 2024 Hot Dog Eating Contest. Their competitive appetites, fueled by cheers from sponsors representing 29 credit unions and CUSOs, helped raise an impressive $13,000 for Penn State Health Children’s Hospital in Hershey, Pa. The event was made possible through generous sponsorships, including the Ultimate Dog, All the Fixin’s, and Frankfurter levels. Among the dedicated supporters was The Virginia Credit Union League, showcasing the collaborative effort of the credit union community to support a worthy cause.
- Vizo Financial and MY CU Services Launch New Third-Party Wires Service
August 7, 2024Vizo Financial Corporate Credit Union and MY CU Services, its payments CUSO, introduced a new Third-Party Wires service this week. The new service offers credit unions enhanced convenience through its online application which allows wire transfers to be processed through a credit union's account with the Federal Reserve. The service is available to all credit unions, whether or not it is a member of Vizo Financial.

- Virginia Credit Union, Member One Federal Credit Union Announce Merger Approval
August 1, 2024Member One Federal Credit Union’s (Member One) membership has approved a merger with Virginia Federal Credit Union (Virginia Credit Union). The merger between the Roanoke, Va.-based Member One and Richmond-based Virginia Credit Union is effective Aug. 1, 2024, with the combined $7 billion organization employing 1,100 staff and serving almost 500,000 members through first-class digital banking services and 37 branch locations.
