As part of our advocacy efforts at GAC today, Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA) was the guest of honor at the League's Legislative Reception on Capitol Hill. More than 40 credit union advocates joined us at the reception.

J.R. Walker, senior policy advisor to Congressman Morgan Griffith, also joined us for today's Capitol Hill Reception.

"We appreciated the opportunity to discuss with Sen. Warner the impact of regulation on credit union business and our priorities," noted League Chief Advocacy Officer JT Blau.

This week, your League and member credit unions have scheduled meetings with the offices of every member of the Virginia Congressional Delegation.

"GAC offers such a unique opportunity to advocate for credit unions, with almost 6,000 credit union representatives gathered this week in Washington to showcase our story and highlight our mission," said Blau. 

We also hosted J.R. Walker, senior policy advisor to Rep. Morgan Griffith (R-9), at Monday's reception.
