It is with profound sadness that UVA Community Credit Union announces the sudden passing of Jeffrey C. Moscicki, Chairman of the Board of Directors, at the age of 71, on Friday, February 2, 2024.

Charlottesville, Virginia, February 7 , 2024: It is with profound sadness that UVA Community Credit Union announces the sudden passing of Jeffrey C. Moscicki, Chairman of the Board of Directors, at the age of 71, on Friday, February 2, 2024.

Jeffrey was an esteemed member of UVA Community Credit Union for over 30 years and had a distinguished career in the medical and clinical research field, specializing in anesthesia and pharmacology. His invaluable contributions to the Credit Union were marked by his steadfast commitment to the principles of financial well-being and community services.

As Chairman of the Board of Directors since 1998, Jeffrey’s leadership and vision were instrumental in shaping the Credit Union’s growth and success over the years.

Susan Gruber, UVA Community Credit Union President/CEO, expressed deep sorrow over the loss, stating, “I am deeply saddened by Jeff’s passing. I will always be appreciative of his impact at UVA Community Credit Union and his commitment to strengthening the financial wellness of our members and local community.”

The entire Board of Directors and Credit Union team extend their heartfelt condolences to the Moscicki family during this difficult time.
