Sen. Mason, Del. Batten Welcome IGNITE Attendees to Williamsburg

“We appreciate our lawmakers welcoming us to Williamsburg for IGNITE and the 89th Annual Meeting of the League,” said League President/CEO Carrie Hunt.

Sen. Mason represents the current 1st Senate District (soon to be the 24th). During his 10 years in the legislature, he has worked to improve infrastructure and transportation, supported small businesses, and fought to improve the child welfare system and education. He has served as a member of the Senate Commerce and Labor Committee, the key committee for credit union and financial services legislation.

Elected in 2019, she has worked on various public elementary and secondary education issues, higher education legislation and consumer finance issues. She has served as a member of the House Commerce and Energy Committee, the key committee for credit union and financial services legislation. She also serves as House Majority Caucus Chair.
