League Offers Scholarships to Attend Upcoming Small CU Conferences in Pennsylvania, Alabama

Authored By: Lewis Wood on 7/26/2023

Your League is joining CUNA and other Leagues to host two regional conferences for small credit unions in 2023. Geared toward management and board members, these low-cost events will focus on how smaller credit unions can strengthen their operations and remain competitive long into the future.

Pick the event that is closest to you—or best for your calendar. Starting at $199 for registration, these must-attend events will offer two full days of networking, best practices, and hard-hitting takeaways.

League Scholarships
Your League will award scholarships -- based on need -- for either the Northeast Small Credit Union Conference or the Southeast Small Credit Union Conference. The scholarship will cover the registration fee ($199) and as much as $1,000 in costs for hotel, travel and meals for an eligible credit union attending the conference.

For information on the scholarship, contact your League's Mary Amyx at 800.768.3344, ext. 1630 or email mamyx@vacul.org. Let Mary know which event you're interested in attending. Reimbursement for eligible travel, hotel and meal expenses (up to $1,000) will be disbursed after vouchers for actual expenses are submitted to your League at mamyx@vacul.org

NOTE: CUNA offers its own scholarship program. Details are available here.

Who Should Attend
Executives and board members of small credit unions! It will prove most beneficial to credit unions with less than $120 million in assets.
