With a mission to provide the funding needed to make dreams and wishes come true for children facing medical hardship, Chartway’s charity – the Chartway Promise Foundation – hosted several fundraisers in 2022. Thanks to its 6th Annual Putting for Promises Golf Tournament, 23rd Annual Charity Golf Classic, and other campaigns, its board was able to approve $770,000 in charitable grants to the following non-profits who share its mission.
- Chartway Congratulates Board Members Sauer, Price
Chartway is proud to congratulate two board members: CAPT George E. Sauer III, USN (Ret.) and Curtis A. Price. Long-time volunteer, Sauer, retired from the board on December 31, 2022, following more than 30 years of service and has moved to emeritus status. Price, who previously served as an associate director, was appointed to fill Sauer’s board seat.

Many members, particularly those outside of the teaching profession, are low-wage workers, often minorities, who feel the economic impact of COVID-19 the most.
