Duties:

Key Responsibilities:

• Safeguard Assets: Manage and control delinquent loan accounts, ensuring timely collections and handling repossessed collateral.
• Lead and Inspire: Train, mentor, and monitor department employees. Conduct monthly coaching sessions, performance evaluations, and manage salary adjustments.
• Member Support: Engage with complex delinquent accounts via phone and mail, taking decisive actions to bring accounts current. Provide expert counseling to members, adhering to Credit Union guidelines, NCUA policies, and the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3-5 years of related experience in a similar role.
• Education: A two-year college degree, specialized certification, or equivalent training.
• Skills: Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and relationship-building skills. Proficiency with ten-key calculators, computers, and keyboarding. Ability to lift or pull up to 25 pounds. Some travel required.
