ABNB Federal Credit Union is currently seeking a Branch Support Manager. The Branch Support Manager supports the Branch Administration team through coordination, tracking, communication and representation on projects and organizational activities impacting the branches. This position also provides key support to the Director of Branch Services and serves the broader strategic goals of the credit union.

Major Responsibilities

  • Serves on teams and task groups for projects/initiatives that impact branch administration as well as specialized teams such as mergers, acquisitions, etc. Partners with project teams, departments, and branch staff to support branch and business deposit related functions and help minimize impact on daily operations while maximizing effectiveness.
  • Coordinates/organizes branch testing of operating systems for releases related to branch functions. Supports testing and implementation of new products and services or updates to existing ones.
  • Acts as a liaison between the project owner/team and branch staff before and after installation and launch. Collaborates with key partners and vendors in the development and delivery of solutions.
  • Makes recommendations for process improvements and partners with Training and Branch Operations Manager to revise procedures when appropriate to improve member or end user experience. Stays current on systems, processes, procedures, and policies.
  • Generates standardized, ongoing branch reports as well as custom branch reports utilizing specialized software as needed. Ensures the completion, evaluation, and submission of reports related to audits and inquiries. Tracks and research member complaints.
  • Provides support for branch openings, closings, consolidations, and relocations.
  • Maintains a professional and courteous attitude with everyone including co-workers, members, management, board members, and outside vendors. Keeps the Director of Branch Services and the Branch Operations Manager well informed of activities and significant concerns.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.


Position Requirements

  • (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.
  • Five years to eight years of similar or related experience.
  • Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is of a personal or sensitive nature. Motivating, influencing, and/or training others is key at this level. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.
  • Thorough knowledge of financial regulations, compliance rules, and policies and procedures.
  • Possess analytical abilities to make decisions and resolve problems.
  • Possess organization and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to supervise staff and communicate effectively with members, potential members and business owners.
  • Must be able to operate a PC and related software programs and calculator with average speed and accuracy. Must have working knowledge in Microsoft Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • Physical qualifications include sitting at a work station for extended periods of time, standing for extended periods of time while giving presentations or supervising the branch; and being able to lift/carry up to 15 pounds.
  • Must have a valid drivers license and the ability to travel between business locations as needed. Branch/Office Environment.
