Henrico Federal Credit Union, a $412 Million credit union serving 32,000 members in Richmond, Virginia, is currently seeking a service-driven Senior Systems Administrator to support Credit Union activities using information systems assets primarily focused on network administration, business continuity and information systems compliance.
Network administration duties include setting up new users, assisting end-users with network access, resolving connection problems and troubleshooting software issues. Installs, upgrades and configures workstation hardware and software. Monitors network utilization and information security. Leads business continuity and disaster recovery activities. Coordinates with VP on IT-related audits and testing with supporting documentation and remediation. Provides technical support to employees, answers questions and prepares network training sessions as needed. Maintains procedural documentation and related activity logs. Makes recommendations for new information systems solutions. Establishes and maintains effective business relationships and communication with end-users and outside vendors.
The successful candidate must possess knowledge of network operations and all related computer hardware and software, phone systems and their configuration, as well as a general understanding of Credit Union operations and output requirements.

High school graduate (or equivalent) with two years of computer-related college coursework or vocational school training and A+ or MCSA certification [four-year college degree in information technology (or related field) and / or Network+ or MCSE (desktop or server) certifications are preferred]; four years of experience [six preferred] with PC hardware and software configuration and network support functions; previous experience at a financial institution or credit union preferred; previous supervisory experience desired; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
