ABNB Federal Credit Union is currently seeking a Fraud Processor. The Fraud Processor is responsible for maintaining all plastic card accounts, reports, vendor notifications, and other communications to ensure quality member service and detection of potential and/or realized fraud. Also, responsible for processing all other fraud claims in a timely manner to stay within compliance guidelines.

Major Responsibilities

  • Ensure the accurate and timely filing of card disputes, monitor dispute resolution progress, and process vendor instructions in the time specified by Visa, Inc. Maintain accurate records of card disputes to be reviewed for charge off and submitted for bond recovery.
  • Ensure all plastic card program reports, vendor notifications, and other communications are monitored daily to detect potential and realized fraud.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely filing of all other fraud claims, including but not limited to, Zelle disputes, ABNB web disputes, and Share Draft disputes.
  • Responsible for reviewing return check items and perform maintenance on accounts with realized fraud to prevent additional losses and support recovery of funds.
  • To process GL vouchers and ensure dispute credits/debits are posted within one business day. Assist the GL Reconciler in resolving outstanding issues.
  • Review additional fraud reports, including but not limited to the kiting and Alkami Fraud report to monitor for realized or potential fraud. Responsible for pro-active processing of potential and realized fraud situations to avoid and limit fraud losses.
  • Back up Fraud Supervisor, as needed.
  • Provides friendly, prompt, professional, and accurate service and support to all members and co-workers.


Position Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One to three years similar or related experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products / plastic card maintenance applications preferred.
  • Interpersonal skills required. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
  • Physical qualifications require being able to sit at a computer and other office related equipment for extended periods of time and to be able to lift/carry up to 15 pounds.
