DuPont Community Credit Union (DCCU) is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Vice President of Marketing position. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, the VP of Marketing is a member of the Senior Leadership team responsible for providing direction and leadership to fulfill DCCU’s mission of improving the financial lives of our membership. This position will champion our marketing and brand strategies to ensure they align and support our strong foundation of “people helping people.” while driving business objectives to achieve strategic goals focused on membership growth and retention. This position will collaborate across all business lines, serving as a true business partner, to support and promote DCCU’s brand.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to develop short and long-term goals and priorities for the Credit Union’s marketing, advertising, market research, and public relations functions. Forecast marketing communication needs, develop, support, and lead staff in the execution of the department’s strategies and key initiatives to include preparation and management of the department’s operating and expense budget, develop and utilize measurement processes to gauge marketing success, and enhance responsiveness to ensure positive return on investment. This position will also analyze market trends and demographic data concerning both members and potential members; ensure regulatory compliance as it relates to the development of products, services, and delivery mechanisms; as well as oversight of the all social media channels.
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Communications (or related degree) with more than seven years’ experience in marketing and developing marketing strategies. This individual will possess a hands-on management style, performing with excellence and maximizing the talents of a staff committed to a very high level of responsiveness, quality, and service. They will have excellent organizational, time management as well as oral and written communication skills.
