Richmond Chapter Meets Aug. 17
Lt. Col. Paula F. Penson, a dynamite speaker will deliver the inspirational message of "Being the Best You Can Be" at the Richmond Chapter's Aug. 17 meeting. Col. Penson began her military career when she enlisted in the active duty Air Force in 1973. She is currently the Senior Administrator and full-time Medical Administrative Officer, 113th Medical Group, District of Columbia Air National Guard (DCANG), Andrews AFB, MD. The Richmond Chapter's June newsletter is available online. Featured articles include the 16th Annual Children's Miracle Golf Tournament, CMN's Lemon-Aid fundraiser, and the "What If…" credit union awareness campaign.

Richmond Chapter Golf Tournament Oct. 12
The Richmond Chapter will host its Annual VACUPAC Golf Tournament on Oct. 12. Time: 10:30 a.m. shotgun start (check-in 10 a.m.). Place: Hunting Hawk Golf Club (15201 Ashland Road, Glen Allen, 23059). Format: Captain’s Choice. Fee: $90, which includes greens fee, cart and dinner. Proceeds support the Virginia Credit Union Political Action Committee, which enables us to support lawmakers and political candidates who support credit unions and our issues. Deadline for registrations in Oct. 6. Sponsors are also needed, with sponsorships starting at just $150!

Richmond Chapter Accepting Orders for White House Ornaments
It is that time of year again! The Richmond Chapter of Credit Unions will be selling the 2010 White House Ornament to benefit the Virginia Credit Union Political Action Committee (VACUPAC). The cost is $20 each. To place an order, please send your information to Chris Miller by Oct. 15 - 804.639.8023, ext. 108 or cmiller@chesterfieldfcu.net.
Ornaments are not returnable or refundable, so only order what you plan to purchase or sell at your credit union. Payment is due by Oct. 29 (checks payable to Chesterfield Federal Credit Union). Each credit union will receive VACUPAC credit for the amount it raises through ornament sales. Help us reach our 2010 VACUPAC goal. This ornament makes a great gift, so get a head start on your holiday shopping!
