Connolly: Credit Union MBLs will create jobs. “If banks won’t lend, let’s support the people who will.” Pledged renewed support for legislation in next congress if necessary.
Favola: She appreciates credit unions demonstrating leadership in moving financial transparency forward and has an affinity for the credit union mission.
Marsden, Albo, Bulova, Plum, and Barker: All echoed appreciation of the role of credit unions towards the betterment of the communities.
Lopez: Appreciative of credit union representatives informing him of their positions on pending legislation and encouraged our continued visits.
Jillian Martin: Thanked the League for its endorsement and said Governor Kaine appreciated our meetings to discuss federal issues important to credit unions.

Bonus: CUNA’s Jeremy Dalpiaz spent Thursday morning speaking with the banking aides from the offices of Congressmen Morgan Griffith and Randy Forbes. They discussed our most important bills: member business lending, supplemental capital, exam fairness, and privacy notices. He reports that these were good informational conversations.
