Norfolk Southern Employees Credit Union Merges with NAE Federal Credit Union

On May 10, 2014, Norfolk Southern Employees Credit Union agreed to merge with NAE Federal Credit Union. Founded in 1928 to serve the employees of Norfolk Southern Corporation, the credit union grew to serving over 950 members and over $2 million in assets.

Chesapeake, VA (June 17, 2014) – On May 10, 2014, Norfolk Southern Employees Credit Union agreed to merge with NAE Federal Credit Union. Founded in 1928 to serve the employees of Norfolk Southern Corporation, the credit union grew to serving over 950 members and over $2 million in assets.

“We are excited to serve the members of NSECU and the employees of Norfolk Southern Corporation, many who live and work here in the same communities that NAEFCU has also served for 50 years” said Paul Johnson, CFO of NAE Federal Credit Union.
