Lynchburg, Va. (Oct. 24, 2013) – Member One Federal Credit Union is thrilled to announce the grand opening of its newest branch, Lakeside Crossing. Lakeside Crossing is now open in Lynchburg and is currently the credit union’s second branch in the surrounding Lynchburg area.
Lakeside Crossing’s Grand Opening will be on Tuesday, October 29, and a ribbon cutting ceremony will kick off the event at 11a.m. The event will be open to the public and there will be prize drawings, refreshments and other giveaways to celebrate the opening of Member One’s newest Lynchburg branch.
Lakeside Crossing’s new interior changes include an open lobby that allows employees to personally greet and assist member needs in a more personal setting. In addition to a new location, new amenities are an advancement for members, such as an iPad bar that allow employees to personally guide members through online banking features and questions. “The new branch has a clean and open look and is more personable for our members,” said James Fazio, AVP Property Administration.
“Lynchburg is a natural fit for our products and services. We believe the community needs to match the culture of our credit union and we feel that Lynchburg does,” said, Mark Hudzik, Chief Sales Officer.
“The downtown revitalization area is incredible, the diversity of consumers within the region, the social dynamics in the community, the events for local flavor—it’s all exciting and lines up well with our strategic brand, which is our belief that helping people achieve their financial goals helps the entire community,” Hudzik said.
