League Seeking Nominations for Kirsch, Farley Awards

We are seeking your recommendations for prospective candidates for our annual awards. The Virginia Credit Union League Board will name the winners of the 2014 James P. Kirsch Lifetime Achievement Award and the Eugene H. Farley Award of Excellence at the annual meeting in Williamsburg on April 4, 2014.

James P. Kirsch Lifetime Achievement Award

Given annually to recognize an individual who has made significant contributions to our credit union movement over the course of his or her career.  Please submit recommendations with a comprehensive listing of the official positions, achievements, and honors of the candidate. Previous winners include Bob Morgan, Eugene Johnson, Jake Lay, Jean Yokum, Charles Perkins, Frank Marciniak, Kathryn Coleman, Christie Eugene, and Huyke Urrutia.

Eugene H. Farley Award of Excellence

Given annually to recognize an individual for outstanding achievement. Please submit recommendations describing the achievement and its contribution to your credit union, the community, or the credit union movement.  Previous winners include Paul Phillips, Ken Davis, Janet Harris, Jane Watkins, Juri Valdov, Dick Williams, Arthur Emberson, Kim Wilkerson, and Mary Fehrs.
