Gelles Returns to Langley Federal Credit Union as Vice President of Real Estate Lending

Langley Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce Tammy Gelles has returned as Vice President of Real Estate Lending. Gelles will lead the Real Estate Lending team and is responsible for the origination, processing, closing and servicing of first and second mortgages.

NEWPORT NEWS, VA–Langley Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce Tammy Gelles has returned as Vice President of Real Estate Lending. Gelles will lead the Real Estate Lending team and is responsible for the origination, processing, closing and servicing of first and second mortgages.

“Tammy’s passion for lending, combined with her extensive experience working for a variety of banks, credit unions and mortgage companies, makes her the ideal leader for our lending team,” said Langley Senior Vice President of Lending Curtis Baker. “We’re excited to have her back at Langley.”

Previously, Gelles was Vice President, Sales Manager at Fulton Mortgage Company in Newport News since 2008. Prior to that, she served as Vice President of Real Estate Lending at Langley from 2005 to 2007. Gelles is active in the Peninsula Mortgage Lenders Association, the Virginia Peninsula Board of Realtors, the Williamsburg Area Association of Realtors and is a member of the Old Dominion University Athletic Foundation. 

Gelles has a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Real Estate Finance from Old Dominion University.
