Entrust Financial Credit Union regretfully announced April 8 that Susan J. Adams, the credit union’s President and Chief Executive Officer, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 59 years old and passed peacefully in her home with her husband nearby.

Richmond, Virginia – April 8, 2013 - Entrust Financial Credit Union regretfully announces today that Susan J. Adams, the credit union’s President and Chief Executive Officer, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. She was 59 years old and passed peacefully this morning in her home with her husband nearby.
Susan Adams served as Entrust Financial Credit Union’s CEO for 24 years and became a beloved friend and colleague of many in the industry. She also served on the Board of Directors for PSCU Financial Services and has been a part of the credit union movement for 36 years. Cheri Spence, Chairman of Entrust Financial Credit Union’s Board of Directors said, “Susan’s influence will be felt for years to come both at Entrust Financial Credit Union and throughout the credit union industry by all she helped and the lives she touched over the years. She was loved by all and will be tremendously missed.”
Lisa Lambrecht, Vice President of Accounting and Risk Management will continue as Interim CEO until the Board of Directors fills the role of CEO.
