Woodbridge, VA, December 26, 2012 - Belvoir Federal Credit Union implements new Mobile Bill Pay and Deposit Everywhere Mobile through the Belvoir Federal Mobile Banking iOS and Android applications.
Currently, Belvoir Federal’s mobile banking platform, released in the Google Play and Apple Store in April 2012, has approximately 4,000 users. The rapid adoption rate for Belvoir Federal’s Mobile Banking has grown at an average of 458 users per month.
The recent upgrade of the mobile application allows members to pay bills, select payment amounts, set payment dates, and view scheduled bills through the mobile Bill Pay platform.
Additionally, qualified Belvoir Federal members have the opportunity to deposit checks by taking a picture with a smartphone through Deposit Everywhere Mobile. Since the launch of this service in September 2012, many members have begun depositing their checks through the remote deposit capture method.
