In March, ABNB launched its all new, free mobile banking application giving its 46,000 members 24/7 access to their account information, make transfers between accounts, pay bills, and find the closest ATM or branch. More than 5,000 members have already signed up and logged in to their mobile app using their iPhones and Android devices.
"Having immediate, at-your-finger-tips access to information is expected in today's techno-savvy environment. So bringing mobile access to our members was top priority. We're continuing to develop the mobile features and plan to launch even more convenient tools to our members in the coming year." said Carl Ratcliff, the CEO at ABNB.
With even more e-Services readily available, ABNB wanted to increase electronic usage with its members. A 'Go Paperless and Win' contest was introduced, which randomly awarded e-Service users every week with prizes such as, an iTunes gift card, iPod shuffle, iPod nano, Amazon Kindle, and an iPad. Between March 1 and April 30, ABNB members rapidly downloaded the mobile app and enrolled in the e-Services that they weren't already utilizing and entered the contest in hopes of winning.
"I would like to thank ABNB for having the e-services raffle! I use all of ABNB's e-services and it's a great service that the bank provides to all the customers. The online and mobile services really make it convenient for me to check my account, pay bills, and make transfers between my checking and savings. Thanks ABNB!" said Alexis Acevedo, ABNB member and drawing winner.
For over fifty years ABNB has maintained a commitment to providing quality products and services along with professional and personal service to its members. With thirteen branches and numerous service centers, ABNB currently serves more than 46,000 members and is one of the largest home-based financial institutions in the Hampton Roads area.
