ABNB Celebrates Successful Warm Coat Drive

ABNB is proud to announce another successful Coat Drive in 2012, collecting over 250 coats! This year, Charles Black with 95-7 R&B and the Salvation Army partnered with ABNB on the 'One Warm Coat' drive that ran from November 1 through December 15, 2012. Coats were collected at all 13 ABNB locations and the 95-7 R&B radio office.

ABNB FCU Hosts Coat Drive

Salvation Army Captain Mary Meredith, ABNB VP of Marketing, Kelli Ragland, and 95-7 R&B radio personality, Charles Black when Salvation Army came to ABNB’s Operations Center to collect this year’s donations.

“We're always overwhelmed with the generosity and selflessness of both our employees and members who make this such a successful campaign every year.” says ABNB Relationship Manager, Leisa Brissett. “We have members that count on it each year and sometimes show up with an armful of brand new coats before the campaign even starts!”

This year, Charles Black with 95-7 R&B and the Salvation Army partnered with ABNB on the 'One Warm Coat' drive that ran from November 1 through December 15, 2012. Coats were collected at all 13 ABNB locations and the 95-7 R&B radio office.

ABNB has been committed for over 10 years, to helping those in need in the Hampton Roads community stay warm during the winter months. Since this campaign started, more than 2,000 coats have been donated. "We are blessed to have community partners like ABNB who, for ten years, have helped provide warm coats to neighbors in need," said Captain Mary Meredith of The Salvation Army. "A warm coat can make a big difference in someone's road to stability during the winter and we're thankful for ABNB helping us help folks in need."
